Small/Medium/Large Volume

At Momentum Circuits, we welcome PCB enquiries and RFQs for any volume of boards, ranging from a single circuit right up to large volumes that are supplied over a scheduled period of time.

Our primary focus is to ensure that regardless of volume, you get boards delivered in the most commercially advantageous method possible and delivered right on time.

The process involved in reading, quoting and ultimately supplying PCBs is no different based on small or large volume and we value customers large and small equally, however PCBs are an ‘economy of scale’ product, and this means that the very best prices can be achieved when we are able to manufacture the largest batches possible.

For larger volume boards, we offer a choice of either scheduled deliveries or kan-ban delivery stock management services to supply exactly the right number of boards relative to your monthly manufacturing throughput to achieve a just-in-time ( JIT) manufacturing scenario. We also offer a commercial saving to those customers who are prepared to take 100% of stock quickly as this is commercially advantageous to us, and we will share that advantage with you.

As it is crucially important that we supply boards that offer the highest level of solderability and assembly performance, Momentum will offer a price based on the total annual volume of boards, but chose to split the manufacturing quantity for large volumes across a number of smaller batches.

This offers two primary advantages, firstly the boards that we supply will have the longest available shelf-life (coupled with optimum wetting performance) and secondly, this approach minimises the potential for redundant or obsolete physical stock in the event of subsequent or unforeseen up issues.
